武漢肺炎來勢洶洶，新春開工第一天就接到旅行社的電話，二月底的東北行取消了，接著韓國公社宣布韓語課停課至二月十日，同學務必配戴口罩上課，如果感冒無法上課者不列入缺席名單，二月的國際書展也延到五月舉行，全台都如臨大敵般與疫情作戰。二○○三年的SARS期間，我在義大利遊學，三月底離台，七月初返台，沒有經歷過SARS的恐慌！

二○二○新春雖有武漢肺炎來攪局，但與親朋好友的歡樂聚會照常。第一次到超級韓粉家喝春酒，朋友全家搬出各種造勢道具，令我大開眼界！與年輕人瘋狂追星一般，人民心中有個政治人物偶像，為單調枯燥的生活添上一筆色彩，不也是好事一樁。

年後的日子一如往常，每天過著強迫記憶的生活，韓語教科書的單字一而再再而三過目即忘，連做夢都想著韓語的字彙，解構建構韓語的句法，慢慢地我的韓語從日語的框架下抽離，所幸至今中文與英文尚未干擾過韓語的學習。

二月底的東北行雖然取消了，但我前往遼東半島及山東半島的計畫不會終止，學了韓語後，前進朝鮮半島，有了前往黃海對岸遼東半島及山東半島一窺究竟的動機，心想此

生有幸能沿著鴨綠江逆流而上，從丹東到長白山, 一趟中韓邊界的奇幻旅程，不是為了看不平靜的江河，而是為了練韓語！

At last, I sought the help from my husband to install the Korean Words in my computer! Whenever I see a new word, I can look up in the dictionary easily! I'm contented that I could learn the Korean language in such a fast speed!

Year 2020

It's been quite a while since I last wrote an article on this blog. And I changed the original Chinese Blog Name from「彩色人生」to an English Blog Name "Beautiful & Colorful Life" of the same meaning today!

I created the blog for my college classmates, but one of them was not happy about my posting classmates group photos. In order to respect the individual privacy, I decided to stop reporting classmates activities since then. Year 2020 is a good year to（올해 목표는）resume this blog in addition to an exiting blog (www.taipeitm.blogspot.com) where I've been active for more than 10 years!

Year 2020 is the year of Korean for me! 저는 2020년 동안 한국어를 배우려고 합니다. I shall devote most of my free time studying the Korean language! Why the Korean language? Honestly speaking, I think it's all about the destiny! I began learning the Korean language since last May, then I became hooked. Being able to converse in more than 3 languages fluently, it's not difficult to add a new one on my list. The more I study a new language, the more eager I am to converse with the native speakers. Consequently, I went to Seoul for a week in December, and I enjoyed many small chats with local residents.

Last December, I was courageous enough to sign up the Korean-3 class at Korea Tourism and Cultural Exchange Center in Taipei, and I was lucky to pass the entrance examination in January 7th! I'm now studying Korean at the Center every Monday and Wednesday morning from 10 till 12 noon. The Korean Center is very generous to offer free class as well as free textbook and CD for each student. There are 20 students in my class. The Korean-3 class will last till the end of April.

 Be it a difficult class, I shall do my best to catch up with the rest of the classmates. Hopefully I can attend Korean-4 class the second half of 2020!
